About Callie

Epic Fantasy with Romance Author

My Writing Journey

I used to write a lot when I was younger. Fanfictions, songs, poems, and I had a concept for a manga that I wanted to create. When I got to college, I put a lot of it to the side until I was inspired to write a story for my D&D character from a two year campaign that we didn’t get to finish because our DM moved. I ended up scrapping this idea, but the seed to write had been planted. Inspiration for my next concept came after I heard the song “Walpurgisnacht” by faun; The Dryad Chronicles took root on April 30, 2019. I set into building my own world. In June 2019 on a trip to the Bahamas with my family, I put pen to paper and began to draft out the first versions of what became my first epic fantasy with romance.

The Dryad Chronicles has expanded out from the five book series to include two completed novellas, one additional novel and plans for a few others to spin off. My first series is in the process of getting updated covers and being re-released from 3rd POV to 1st POV. Daughter of Earth and Calling of the Grove are out now. Whispers of the Wind has a tentative release of Fall 2026.

The Series Title for the Dark Fantasy has been announced! Revolt of the Marked. Book 1 – Lament of the Dendron.

To Make a Monster is re-releasing soon! New Cover was revealed in the newsletter in Jan 2026 – Social release coming soon!

Keep an eye out here and in my newsletter for pre-order information to come!

Personal Life

In my personal life, I enjoy a lot of various activities. I read even more often than I write, and try to live each day to it’s fullest. As of Oct 2025, I reside in Denver, CO with my partner, Steve, and our three furchildren: Luna, our german shepherd (7), and our cats Pandora (18) and Eevee (8).
